According to the mythology during Samudra manthan few drops of Amrit (Necter) fell here, along with Ujjain, Nasik and Allahabad, thus every 12 years Kumbh Mela organised here, millions of pilgrims, devotees and tourists congregate in Haridwar to perform ritualistic bathing on the banks of the river Ganges to wash away their sins to attain Salvation(Moksha). Brahma Kund is the point where the Amrit fell, located at Har ki Pauri "footprints of the God" and is considered to be the most sacred ghat of Haridwar.

Tour Detail
Day 01: Delhi – Haridwar (205kms/6hrs)Welcome to New Delhi. You are greeted and assisted on arrival at Delhi Airport /Railway station by Namaste India Trip representative and drive to Haridwar. On arrival proceed to sightseeing covering Ashrams and temples-Mata Mansa Devi Temple and Chandi Devi Temple etc.In the evening proceed to perform ritualistic bathing on the banks of pious river Ganges and join the enchanting evening Aarti at Har-ki-Pauri. Brahma Kund, the spot where the Amrit (nectar) spilled out of the pitcher, is located at Har ki Pauri and is considered to be prime ghat of Haridwar.Night stay in Haridwar.
Day 02: Haridwar – Rishikesh (25kms/1hrs)
After breakfast drive to Rishikesh for full day shightseeing, visit Shivanand Ashram, Ram jhoola, Laxman jhoola, Gita Bhavan, Pramarth Niketan, evening aarti at Rishikesh. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03: Rishikesh – Mussoorie (74kms/4hrs)
After early breakfast, depart for city tour of Mussoorie- Kempty falls, Municipal garden, Sir George Everest House, & The Mall Road. Overnight stay at Mussoorie.
Day 04: Mussoorie – Delhi (300kms/7hrs)
After breakfast drive to Rishikesh for full day shightseeing, visit Shivanand Ashram, Ram jhoola, Laxman jhoola, Gita Bhavan, Pramarth Niketan, evening aarti at Rishikesh. Overnight stay at hotel.
