South India Temple Tour Packages from Delhi

Start your spiritual journey from Delhi airport. Board the flight to Chennai. It usually takes 3 hours to reach Chennai from Delhi by air. Once you arrive in Chennai, one of our representatives will pick you from the airport and get you checked-in to the hotel we have booked for you. You will be staying at the hotel in Chennai overnight.

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will head for Tirupati temple Darshan located in Andhra Pradesh. It will take 3 to 4 hours to reach Tirupati. Once there, you will visit some of the famous temples in Tirupati like Sri Padmavathi Temple, Sri Kalahasteeswara Temple, Sri Kodandaramaswami Temple, Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Govindaraja Swamy Temple and Kapila Theertham. After Darshan at all the temples you will travel back to your hotel in Chennai and stay for the night.

Today you will leave for Mamallapuram and will stop at Kanchipuram enroute. After sightseeing at the temples in Kanchipuram, you will head towards Mamallapuram also known as Mahabalipuram. You will check-in to the hotel once reached. Take some rest and go out exploring Mamallapuram. You will visit Shore Temple and Krishna Mandapam. Later you will travel back to your hotel and stay there for the night.

Post breakfast, you will travel to Tiruvannamalai. Visit Arunachala temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and offer prayers. After exploring, you will travel towards Puducherry. Check-in to the hotel where you will stay overnight.

Today will be spent exploring the French Colonial settlement, Puducherry which is a Union Territory of India. Visit Sri Aurobindo ashram, Church of the Sacred Heart Jesus, the Sacre Coeur Church and Pondicherry Museum. You will also visit Manakula Vinayagar Koil Temple which is dedicated to Lord Ganesha. Afterwards, head back to your hotel for dinner and a relaxing night.

Today’s destination will be Thanjavur, earlier known as Tanjore. The journey is about 5 hours long. You will be stopping over at Chidambaram for a quick excursion. Visit the Nataraja temple which is solely dedicated to the cosmic dancing form of Lord Shiva i.e Nataraja and signifies the art of Bharatanatyam. After that continue the journey further to Thanjavur. Once arrived, check-in and stay for the night.

Visit Brihadeeswara temple in Thanjavur which is a UNESCO world heritage site and is said to be one of the oldest temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. After Darshan you will head to Trichy and check in to the hotel there. You can enjoy the evening strolling around at nearby places or markets. Stay overnight at the hotel.

You will start your journey after breakfast at the hotel. The first stop will be Srirangam located on an island. Visit Sri Ranganathaswamy temple surrounded by the river Kaveri. Next you'll visit the famous landmark of Trichy which is the Rock Fort. Lastly, you will travel to Madurai. Check-in to the hotel and stay for the night.

Post breakfast, explore the sacred town of Madurai located on the bank of river Vaigai.Visit Meenakshi Amman templewhich is dedicated to Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva. You will attend the evening ceremony at the temple and seek blessings from the divine. After sightseeing and temple visit, you will head back to your hotel in Madurai for an overnight stay.

You will leave for the southernmost tip of India, Kanyakumari, today. The journey is about 4 to 5 hours long. Once you reach, visit Swami Vivekananda’s memorial, Kumari Amman Temple and Thiruvalluvar Statue. Once you finish exploring and visiting all the key attractions, you will be staying at the hotel in Kanyakumari itself for the night.

In the morning after having your breakfast you will travel to Trivandrum which is a 3 - 4 hours long ride. Once there, check in at the hotel and take some rest. After relaxing a little, you will visit Padmanabha Swamy temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and also visit Napier Museum. After sightseeing, you will head back to your hotel and stay overnight.

This will be the final day of your South Indian pilgrimage tour. You will check-out and will be dropped at the airport. You can then fly back to Delhi or your native place with beautiful memories.
