Today you will embark on the journey to the Best South Indian temples. Board the flight from Ahmedabad to Chennai. Arrive in Chennai and one of our team members will pick you up. You will be transferred to the hotel that's been reserved for you. Check-in, enjoy the meals and stay for the night.

After having breakfast, you will leave early for Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh which will take approximately 4 hours to reach. Once you reach, you will visit the famous temples including Sri Venkateswara temple, Padmavathi temple, Govindaraja Swamy temple, Sri Kodandaramaswami temple etc. After receiving Darshan and blessings from all the temples you will head back to your hotel in Chennai to stay overnight.

Today you will drive to Mamallapuram, taking a stopover at Kanchipuram also known as the city of 1000 temples. It’s a 1-2 hour drive from Chennai to Kanchipuram. Once arrived, you will visit the sacred temples of Kanchipuram including the revered Kailasanathar temple and Kamakshi Amman temple. Afterwards, you will travel to Mamallapuram or Mahabalipuram which will take another 2 hours. On arrival, you will see Shore temple, Five Rathas and Krishna Mandapam. Later you will check -in to the hotel in Mamallapuram for an overnight stay.

You will leave early for Pondicherry post breakfast which takes about 5-6 hours. Visit Tiruvannamalai, one of the holiest towns in Tamil Nadu, on the way. You will explore Arunachala temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and was built in the 9th century. Afterwards, you will leave for Puducherry. Reaching there, you will check-in to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Today you will explore the key attractions of Puducherry. Some of them are Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry Museum, Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Manakula Vinayagar Temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha. Embrace the spiritual and peaceful ambience of Puducherry and conclude your day by heading back to the hotel to stay for the night.

After breakfast you will head to the Nataraja temple located in Chidambaram. The drive will take around 2 hours. The temple is dedicated to the cosmic dance form of Lord Shiva. Later continue your journey to Thanjavur and stay at the hotel for the night.

Today you will visit Brihadeeswarar temple in the morning post breakfast. The temple is one of the oldest temples of Lord Shiva and also a UNESCO world heritage site. Once you finish exploring Thanjavur, head towards Tiruchirappalli or Trichy which takes approx 2 hours. Once there, stay overnight in Trichy.

After breakfast you will visit the Rock Fort temple (where the oldest piece of rock is preserved). Also visit Sri Ranganathaswamy temple in Srirangam. Then you will travel to Madurai (also known as the Lotus city) which takes around 2-3 hours. Check in to your hotel once reached and stay overnight.

Today you will explore the famous temples and other attractions in Madurai. Madurai is believed to be built by the Pandya kings in the shape of lotus thus named as Lotus city. Meenakshi Amman Temple, Thirumalai Nayakar Mahal, Vaigai Dam, Alagar Kovil, and Koodal Azhagar Temple are among the places you will see. You can go shopping at the neighboring marketplaces as well. You will return to your accommodation in the evening for a pleasant night after touring the holy city.

You will travel to Kanyakumari post breakfast which takes about 4-5 hours. Once reached you will visit places like Swami Vivekanand’s memorial, Thiruvalluvar statue and Kumari Amman temple. After sightseeing and seeking blessings from the temple Darshan, you will check in to your hotel and stay overnight.

After breakfast you will travel to Trivandrum which is 3-4 hours long drive. Check-in to the hotel once reached. Afterwards, you will visit the holy Padmanabha temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is said to be the wealthiest temple in India. Next you will visit Napier Museum and later you will check in to the hotel in Trivandrum for an overnight stay.

This will be the last day of your South Indian temple journey. You will be transferred to the airport from where you will board the flight to Ahmedabad. The trip comes to an end with precious memories to be cherished forever.
