Tour Itinerary
Day 1 :Guwahati to Shillong
On arrival in the vibrant city of Guwahati our representative will be waiting at the Airport or Railway station to greet you, then you will be shifted to Shillong.
On the way, take a visit to the Don Bosco Museum, a seven-story building showcasing the life, culture, and history of Northeast India through its displays representing each of the seven sister states of the Northeast.
Thereafter, check into your hotel for an overnight stay in Shillong.
Note: Don Bosco Museum remains closed on public holidays; entry is on a direct payment basis by guests.
Day 2 :Shillong Day Visit to Cherrapunji
On the second day, after having breakfast at the hotel, you will travel to Cherrapunjee by road.

Day 3 :Shillong – Mawlynnong – Dawki Day Visit
Get a delicious breakfast from the hotel on the 3rd day of your tour, then take a visit to Mawlynnong. The first stop will be Jingmaham Living Root Bridge, a unique structure that reflects the creativity of the residents. Along the way, you'll see numerous beautiful waterfalls.
Then, head towards Dawki (34 km from Mawlynnong Village). Once there, enjoy a boat ride in Umngot River and explore nearby places. Return to Shillong after sightseeing. Stay at the hotel for the night.
Day 4 :Shillong to Guwahati
Post breakfast, transfer back to Guwahati. Once you reach, visit the Assam State Museum (closed on public holidays).
Afterwards, take a tour of the Handloom Centre. Enjoy the sunset cruise ride on the Brahmaputra River (subject to operations and available on direct payment). Later, return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Guwahati.
Day 5 :Guwahati City Sightseeing
You can start early by visiting famous temples like Kamakhya Temple, Dhumavati Temple, Maa Tara Temple, Maa Chhinnamasta Temple, and Maa Bhuvaneshwari Temple.

Note:
- In order to offer a special ritual or puja at Kamakhya temple, inform us a day prior so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
- Every year during the period of Ambubachi, the Kamakhya temple remains closed i.e from 22 June - 25 June.
- When the temple reopens, a big ceremony named Ambubachi Mela is held. The Mela goes on for a week making the temple premises and local streets extremely crowded. Therefore, plan your trip accordingly.
- Ambubachi Mela dates: 26 June - 03 July.
Day 6 :Departure from Guwahati
It will be the final day of the tour where you bid a goodbye to Guwahati along with sweet memories. You will be transferred and dropped off at Guwahati Airport or Railway station for your further journey.
