Do Dham Yatra by Helicopter 2025 Itinerary Package See More

Day 1: Dehradun (Sahastradhara Helipad) – Badrinath – Kedarnath

The helipad is located at a distance of one km from the temple. We have arranged for our car service which is a part of your Do Dham Yatra by Helicopter, to take you to the temple once you deboard the helicopter. Know that our hospitable staff will always assist you with any assistance you require in enjoying a wonderful Darshan.

Badrinath: The Nar, Narayan and Neelkanth Peaks seem to engulf the sacred shrine at Badrinath, shielding its spiritual potency from the chaos of the world beyond the mountains. No wonder thousands throng in large multitudes every season to avail Lord Badrinarayan blessings. The land is said to have been covered in a Badri forest, a forest of jujube trees, in the bygone days.

On our way to Kedarnath from Badrinath Helipad, we will change our helicopter service once at Phata/Sitapur. This is in congruence with the government regulation insisting on the shift to shuttle service of about eight minutes to take one quite close to the temple premises. Our staff will help you in enjoying a blissful Darshan of Lord Kedarnath.

We will provide you with the VIP Darshan that will let you in having the Darshan without having to stand in long queues. Please know that this incurs no additional costs from you as our package is inclusive of the VIP passes.

The whimsical moods of Mother Nature at Kedarnath is quite famous. One is therefore advised to finish the darshan within 1.5 hours and return to the helipad.

Kedarnath: What better than the regal mountain ranges of Kedarnath to form the perfect backdrop for the Lord of Kedar Khand to reside in? Lord Shiva, the Omniscient, omnipotent Protector and destroyer of the cosmos, resides in one of his beautiful Jyotirlingas in this beautiful shrine.

Kedarnath also forms an indispensable part of the Panch Kedar, another pilgrimage conglomeration for the Shaivite Bhakths. An interesting legend connects all these holy shrines. Apparently, Lord Shiva eluded Pandavas seeking his forgiveness for their committed mistakes in Kurukshetra by taking the form of a bull.

When Pandavas figured out the Lord’s Leela, the different parts of the bull’s body appeared in different holy spots. The hump at Kedarnath, arms at Tungnath, its head near Kapaleeshwar, face at Rudranath and belly near Madhmaheswar.

We have successfully finished the pilgrimage to two of the holiest of holy shrines in India within a day. The pilgrimage is set to end around 1.40 pm with our helicopter landing you safe near the Dehradun helipad.
