Magical Ladakh with Kashmir Package

On reaching Srinagar you will be greeted and welcomed by our tour manager. You will then be transferred to your unique houseboat hotel. After having relaxed and rested for a bit you will be taken for some brief sightseeing and tour of the city.

This will start off with a fun and peaceful 2 hours long Shikara ride on the Dal Lake. This will be followed by a brief shopping experience in the bazaar and nearby colourful marketplace. After this the day will end off by you getting back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Post breakfast the full day trip for Pahalgam excursion will kick off. Pahalgam is 88 kms away from the main town of Kashmir and it takes about 2 hours to reach. The first place to visit in Pahalgam will be Betaab Valley, a mesmerising spot where numerous Bollywood films are shot. Sheshnag Lake will be the next place to visit in Pahalgam. Other places to visit and explore in Pahalgam include Aru Valley, Mamleshwar Temple, Poshwan Park and Chandanwari. The day will end upon your arrival back to your houseboat accommodation in Srinagar which will include dinner followed by a night stay.

Post breakfast the day will begin for a full day of excursion to Gulmarg which is one of the most popular tourist destinations of Kashmir. Gulmarg is 50 kms away from Kashmir and it takes about 2 hours to reach by road. The Gulmarg excursion will commence from a scenic and exciting Gondola ride that will give some of the most iconic views of the surroundings. This Gulmarg gondola ride is the 2nd longest and the 2nd highest cable car ride in the world. Skiing in Gulmarg is another fun activity that you will be a part of. The trip to Gulmarg will be one of the most fun packed, adventure experiences in Kashmir.

Finally after an excursion to Gulmarg you will be made to head back to your houseboat hotel in Srinagar for dinner and an overnight stay.

Post breakfast and check out of your hotel in Srinagar you will be headed for your next destination in Kargil. En route a visit to the ‘meadow of gold’ or Sonmarg will take place. Places to visit in Sonamarg excursion will include Vishansar Lake, Thajiwas Park, Baltal Valley etc. on the way to Kargil, you will also be halting at Zoji La and Shutkari Bridge.

The journey will be about 6 to 7 hours long by road and you will also witness the drastic change in geography the whole road trip to Kargil.

Before reaching Kargil, you will also be able to stop over at Drass which is the coldest place in India. It is also a historical place since it is here that the Kargil war had taken place. On reaching Kargil you will be checked in to your hotel here for dinner and an overnight stay.

Post breakfast you will be checked out of your hotel in Kargil and made to head for your next destination in Leh via a sightseeing exploration in Lamayuru. The entire trip will be 5 hours by road. Lamayuru will be a place for a brief halt in order to explore the Alchi Monastery and Moonland. Finally on visiting Leh you will be checked in to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Early in the morning post breakfast your full day of sightseeing in Leh will take place. This will include visits to the top tourist sightseeing places in Leh like Diskit Gompa which is one of the oldest and largest monasteries in the region. Another visit to Shanti Stupa will also take place which is extremely famous for its ancient Buddhist relics. This will be followed by a visit to the 17th century Leh palace which is also known as Lhachen Palkhar. The palace also houses a museum. Finally you will be headed back to your hotel in Leh for dinner and an overnight stay.

Post breakfast and checkout from the hotel in Leh you will be headed for your next destination on the itinerary which will be Nubra Valley. The trip will take you through the highest motorable road in the world - Khardung La. This high altitude mountain pass of Khardung is located on an elevation of 17,583 feet above sea level and offers some of the most stunning views of the surrounding snowcapped peaks. On reaching Nubra Valley you will be checked in to your hotel where some time for relaxation will be given prior to the sightseeing expedition. After some brief relaxation you will be taken for a fun filled two humped Bactrian Camel Ride. This will be followed by a visit to Hunder valley followed by a relaxing time at the Panamik hot springs.

Finally you will be headed back to your hotel in Nubra Valley for dinner and an overnight stay.

Post breakfast in the morning you will be checked out of your hotel in Nubra Valley to head on to your next destination of Pangong Tso. The entire trip will be of 5 to 6 hours as it is 140 kms away. On the way to Pangong Tso you will be stopping over at Shyok River which offers magnificent views of the surroundings. On reaching Pangong Tso you will be checked in to your camp / tent set up. By evening you will be made to chill by the lake, indulge in campfire activities and more. The day will end by having dinner and an overnight stay in Pangong Tso.

Post breakfast, you will be checked out of your campsite in Pangong Tso. Post check out you will be taken to Leh which will be a road trip of 6 hours and a distance of 222 kms will be covered. On reaching Leh you will be checked on to your hotel while the rest of the day will be free for you to spend in leisure.

Finally you will be headed back to your hotel in Leh for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast and check out of the hotel you will be assisted to your departure location in Leh. The drop off at the departure point will mark the end of your magical Ladakh with Kashmir Tour Package with us.
